Marilda Tucker died peacefully May 3, 2004 at her daughter's home in Carmichael, CA. Born in Nevada, MO on February 10, 1920, she moved with her husband from St. Charles, Missouri to Stockton, CA where she resided for 56 years. Throughout that time she actively participated at East Side Presbyterian Church. Following her husband's death in 1965 she worked as an R.N. for Stockton State Hospital until she retired. She loved growing flowers, baking goodies and sewing fine things.
She is survived by her brother, George Gibson, her sister, Irma Faye Brinkman, and her children, Susan Rodriguez of Delicias, Mexico, Charles Tucker of Ono, CA. and Mary Holden of Carmichael, CA. She has 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held at Park View Cemetery on Friday, June 11, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Family and friends may gather at East Side Presbyterian/Faith Bilingual Church, 315 Sierra Nevada at Miner Ave. in Stockton following the Interment."
