Son of Henry Milton Boone(12/1881-6/1946,buried in Union Ridge Cemetery, Drew Co.) and Cressie Annie Miller Boone(10/1879-10/1950, buried in Union Ridge Cemetery). Married Flarrie E. Wheeler(1918) in 12/1934.They had 6 children, Sylvia J. Boone-Davies, Mary J. Boone-Kelley , Daniel Barry Boone(4/1940-4/1940, buried in Union Ridge Cemetery, no marker or record), Virginia R. Boone-Bailey, Francis Kay Boone(12/1943-1/1944, buried in Union Ridge Cemetery), and Judy C. Boone-Brantley. He married Helen Bays-Griffith in 1956. She had two children, Ronald W. Griffith, and Deborah A. Griffith-Nowell who he raised like his own.
He was a World War II veteran. He was a Tech 4, in the 19th Battalion, of the 9th Armored Division.
