Della Jeanette Whitton was the seventh of twelve children, and the oldest of four daughters, of William Franklin and Nancy Elizabeth (Harrell) Whitton. She married George Woodson Easley on 05 Jan 1905 in Quanah, Hardeman County, Texas. They had eight children themselves, the first seven born in Texas, and the last in Covina, California: Henry Grady Easley, Sammie Ora Easley Ridgeway, Lena Lucille Easley Atkisson, George Cliett Easley, Mr. Lois Woodson Easley, Carlos Eugene Easley, Marjorie Elizabeth Easley Bennett, and Ruby Roberta Easley Heflin. They raised a group of children that any parent could be proud of.
