RIPLEY Hilda Faye Neal, 61, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 1999, at the Tippah County Hospital. She was a Baptist. She was the co-owner of Mid-South Graphics and a member of the Business and Professional Women’s Club of Ripley.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Ripley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Swimmer and John Larsen officiating. Burial will be in Tippah Memorial Park.
Survivors include her husband, James R. “J.R.” Neal Sr. of Ripley; one daughter, Cindy Bass, and her husband, Barry, of Ripley; one son, James R. “Chip” Neal Jr., and his wife, Tawana, of Ripley; one brother, Richard Palmer “Dicky” Davis of Houston; five grandchildren, Todd Neal, Tina Richardson, Tonya Neal, Josh Neal and Tiffany Bass.
She was preceded in death by a son, Chuck Neal, and her parents, Palmer and Ola Martin Davis.
Pallbearers will be Jason Davis, Leonard Brotherton, Steve Bass, Randy Bennett, Don Heavener and Roger Cartwright.
Honorary pallbearers will be W.D. Holliday, Raymond Bailey, Lynn Mills, Lincoln Martin, Tony McNatt, John Larsen, Jimmy Hurt and David Miller.
