Mrs. Maragret West, 89, Clinton, died at 9:30 a.m. this morning in John Warner Hospital.
Her death was due to complications resulting from a broken hip sustained about two weeks ago.
Mrs. West was born Oct. 27 [sic?, marker has Oct. 23], 1864 in Missouri, and was married to Franklin C. West, who preceded her.
She was a member of the Christian Church and American Legion auxiliary at Greenview, Illinois.
Surviving are a son, Estill H. West, of Clinton; and a daughter, Mrs. Mae Clowes, of Petersburg; and three grandchildren.
She was taken to the Herington Funeral Home.
