Clarence is remembered by me as one of my Father, Jack C. Morse's best friends. They met in Moscow, Idaho when I was very young, I think getting firewood to help out a family in the area. They hit it off instantly and became the best of friends.

Both Clarence and my Father loved the outdoor's and everything that went with it, Hunting, Fishing, Camping, loved it all and this is why they became such great friends. Another thing my Father and Clarence had in common was Telling Stories, Jokes and Laughing at times almost uncontrollably. Whenever Clarence and my Dad were together, they were telling stories and laughing uncontrollably, alot at each other and the story they were telling.

Clarence was older than my Father, that did not matter, my Father quickly introduced this new Best Friend to my Maternal Grandfather, Fred E. Nelson and the Family that did the crop dusting on the Family Farm in Moscow, Idaho, the Fountains. When my Dad, Clarence, Grandfather and the Fountains got together, it was a real comedy, to say the least, this was generally during some Hunting or Fishing Trip to include Charter Fishing Trips out of Westport, WA, Salmon Fishing in the Pacific Ocean. I remember camping in a Camp Ground in Westport, WA when I was a child, Clarence had his Camper, our Family had their Camper and my Grandparents had their Camper and all the guys were in one Camper, we could hear them laughing at Clarence all the way across the Campground.

Clarence lived with his Wife, Hester Corrin, in Lewiston, Idaho and we would go to Lewiston and visit both Clareance and his Wife, Hester. Hester was a very sweet, reserved woman who I really enjoyed and we continued writing back and forth to each other until she passed away some years after Clarence.

Clarence passed away from Cancer and my Father was a Pallbearer at his funeral in Lewiston, Idaho, I also attended the Funeral with my Mother and Father, it is my understanding that Clarence was buried in the Moscow Cemetery, Moscow, Idaho, next to his first wife and this must be "Frankie" whose name is also on the tombstone.

My Father just passed away in February 2008 and I can say that my Father consistently told stories and talked about his Best Friend, Clarence Corrin, up until the end, he was a great Friend of my Father's and a Great Companion and inspiration for him and I bet they are up there in heaven right now, Hunting, Fishing and Laughing.

God Bless you Clarence and You and Dad catch lots of Fish together in between your Joking, Story Telling and Laughing and occasional R & R!!!

God Bless You! Melinda K. Morse
