Margaret "Kit" DeVincentis departed on Saturday, May 12, 2001. Beloved wife of Joseph DeVincentis and mother of Joseph Jr. (Susan), Thomas (Rose), Christine (Pryor), Gregory (Diane), Catherine (Jeffrey), Theresa and Robert (Dina). Dear sister of Roger (Helen). Loving daughter-in-law to Milietta. Adored grandmother of James, Steven, Brian, Kevin and Michael. A devoted teacher, she taught at the York County Public Schools and the Isle of Wight Academy. She loved life and learning, and contributed to every life she touched. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 on Monday, May 14, at Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield, Va. Interment services on Tuesday morning for family only. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Lung Association, 5349 E. Princess Anne Road, 5349 E. Princess Anne Road, Norfolk, VA 23502
