SMITHFIELD – Betty Agnew Steigner, 77, died Friday, May 16, 1997, at Riverside Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Wheeling, W.Va., a housewife, and a member of Smithfield Woman's Club. Survivors include one daughter, Susan Steigner Lipman of Baltimore, Md., and three grandchildren, Michael Lipman, Rachel Lipman and Robert Lipman. A Mass of the Resurrection service will be conducted Sunday, May 18, at 3 p.m. at Church of the Good Shepherd, Smithfield, with Father Thomas Nee officiating. Burial will follow in St. Luke's Memorial Park. The family will receive friends, Saturday, May 17, from 7 to 8 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield. Memorial contributions may be made to Church of the Good Shepherd, 300 Smithfield Blvd., Smithfield 23430.
