Grandson of Albert and Sythi Dawson Fisher Pioneers from Kentucky who settled in Nine Mile Prairie and Calwood in early 1800's. and Joseph and Rachel Laremore Williams, prominent farmers of of Morgan County, Mo who came from South Carolina in 1700's.
Had one son Billy Joe Williams who survives. Billy Joe later died in a car wreck when he was young.
Also had nine siblings, Henrietta Williams Goodman, Dora Williams Thomas, John W. Williams, Vollie Harrison Williams, Joseph Thomas "Tom" Williams, Cora Bell Williams Laremore, Sarah Elizabeth Williams Lovelace, Charles Williams. Dollie Metzger.
