Funeral services for Stella Mae Abbs, 82, of 7226 S. Campbell ave., formerly of 7127 S. Artesian ave., will be held Wednesday in Prairie Creek, Ind.

Mrs. Abbs died Sunday in Little Company of Mary hospital. She had been a school teacher in Indiana from 1895 to 1910 and was known at that time for her ability to debate.

She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Parsons, Mrs. Alice Cummings Kurtz, and Mrs. Florence Ulrich; one son, Albert W.; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Prairie Creek, Ind.
