Horace was retired from Central Power and Light. He was a Transmission Maintenance Engineer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Charles Adams, one sister, Noni Adams and a grandson, Nickolus Adams.
Survivors include his wife, Charley Adams of Alice; five daughters: Cindy (Dale) Bunch of Alice, Carol (David) Wieland of Mathis, Carla (Steve) Meyer of Ricardo Cristy (Clint) Frazier of Boerne and Conni (Miguel) Rosas of Alice; two sons: Chip (Laura) Adams of Orange Grove and Chuck (Darla) Adams of Austin; two sisters: Nita (Kennith) Hobbs of Alice and Neva Cook of Bryan; one brother, Lonnie (Sandra) Adams of Alice; 19 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation, and rosary and funeral services were conducted on June 16 & 17 at the Holmgreen Mortuary Chapel, Alice, TX.
Burial followed in the Charley-Horace Cemetery, near Orange Grove, TX.
