Loris M. Kline, 78, of Jacksonville, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 1998 at her residence. She was born May 1, 1919 in Galesburg, the daughter of Ralph and Margaret Barlow Holcomb. She married Charles Kline Sr. Nov. 23, 1945 in New Orleans, LA and he survives.
She is also survived by two sons, Charles (wife Marsha)Jr. of Alsey, and Michael of Jacksonville; two daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Marian) Roller of Girard, and Mrs. Tim (Patricia) Russell of Indianapolis, IN.; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Shirley Taylor of Bushnell.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Waggener, and Pearl Holcomb.
Mrs. Kline and her husband lived at their home on Routt Street for 46 years. She had been a seamstress at the Jacksonville State Hospital, worked at Heinl's Greenhouse, and Waddell's and Gillespie's clothing stores downtown. She was a member of Lincoln Ave, Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bower Cemetery in Alsey.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville where the family will meet with friends from 6-8 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the Prairie Counties Hospice or the Heart Fund.
