Mrs. Mildred J. Henry Buzard, 87, of Rimersburg, Pa., who has a daughter living in Batavia, died Sunday (March 14, 2004) at Clarview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Sligo, Pa., where she lived since Feb. 14.
Mrs. Buzard was born April 25, 1916, in Cowansville, Pa., a daughter of the late John and Jennie Mae Guthrie Snyder. She enjoyed crafts, quilting, bowling and playing dominoes and during the past year made seven afghans for infants.
She was wife of the late Walter James Henry Sr., who she married on July 6, 1935, and the late George D. Buzard, who she married on Dec. 28, 1982.
Survivors include four daughters, Pearl (Lee) Hyatt of Batavia, Phillis (William) Ricker of Clarion, Pa., Lois (Larry) McFadden of Cooksburg, Pa. and Joanne (David) Hosey of Rimersburg; three sons, Leroy (Mary) Henry of Rimersburg, Walter (Patricia) Henry Jr. of Callensburg, Pa., and Kevin (Annette) Henry of Tire Hill, Pa.; three stepchildren; 17 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sherrie L. Henry, seven brothers and two sisters.
Services and burial were in Rimersburg. Memorials may be made to Church of God of Prophesy, New Athens, 24 Traister Rd., Rimersburg, PA, 16248.
