He is survived by his wife, Beverly (Whitley) Blankenbaker; two brothers, Byron H. and Samuel T. Blankenbaker. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2008 in Neurath and Underwood Funeral Home, 725 East Market Street, Louisville, KY, with visitation there from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2008. Interment will be in Louisville Memorial Gardens, East.
