HOLMES, Gladys Elizabeth, 93, of Mechanicsville, Va., formerly of Baltimore, Md., departed this life June 10, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas F. Holmes. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving and devoted son, Deacon Percell A. Lewis; two grandchildren, Brenda Broadnax (Reuben) and Chauncey Lewis; one great-granddaughter, Alexa Broadnax; one niece, Connie Cooper (Anthony); a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at March Funeral Home, 2110 E. Laburnum Ave., where viewing will be held Friday, June 13, from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral service 12 noon Monday, June 16, 2008 at City Temple of Baltimore, 317 Dolphin St., Baltimore, Md. Rev. Grady Yeargin officiating. Interment Arbutus Memorial Park, 1101 Sulphur Spring Rd., Baltimore, Md.
