Maud Cecelia was the first daughter of Patrick Henry and Rosella Vinson Simpson. Maud Cecelia was married twice. She first married Steven Warner in 1934, who passed away from heart complications in 1945; and, William Fitting, a tree specialist, in 1948. Maud and Steven had one son, Steven (1939-2014), who was an accomplished amateur photographer. Stephen is buried with his family in Bellefontaine Cemetery in St. Louis. William is buried with Maud at Laurel Hill in St. Louis.
