Lucas Wesley Turner was born Dec. 11, 1978, in Butler, Mo., the son of Gordon Wesley and Wanda Lee (Diehl) Turner. He passed away Sunday, June 1, 2008, as a result of an automobile accident. He graduated in 1997, from Rich Hill High School and graudated from Pittsburg State University Technical School in 1999.
He was employed for the past 5 1/2 years at 3M in Nevada. Lucas enjoyed car races, music, baseball, and spending time with his family and friends; especially his sons Landon and Morgan.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dorothy Diehl. He is survived by his parents; Andrea Norbury, girlfriend and mother of his sons; sister Cassandra Hardin and husband Sam; niece Kristen Hardin; nephew Lane Hardin; grandfather, Orville Diehl; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss him very much.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 3, at 3 p.m., at Heuser Funeral Home, with brother Bill Perkey officiating. Interment was at Green Lawn Cemetery, in Rich Hill. Pallbearers were: Charles Turner, Jason Giacone, Arron Diehl, Blaine Diehl, Josh Giacone, Colby Clifton and George Turner.
