Born November 27, 1952, she was a former member of the First Christian Church; she served as a cook and worked in the church daycare. Shirley was a CNA in Beckley and Albuquerque. She enjoyed cooking, crafts, being surrounded by family and her beloved pets.

She will be sadly missed by her son, Gregory Mark Aaron and her future daughter in law, Nissa Stover of Beckley, and her lifetime friend and companion, Steve Wamsley of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Shirley also leaves behind her, sisters Linda Clausen and husband Dan, Gail Risner, Freida Bond and husband Jack, Juanita J. Martin and Juanita N. Martin and brother Wesley Thomas and wife Ruth.
