Thomas Emory of Dover, husband of the late Mary Estella Grier Emory, died on Friday at the Pennsylvania hospital in Philadelphia. His wife died last May. He has resided in Kent County his entire lifetime.
Funeral services will be held from the Torbert Funeral Chapel on Monday at 2 p.m. Interment will be at Barratt's Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Chapel on Sunday evening.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ralph Hevalow of Dover; a son, E. Grier Emory of Rehoboth; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Reynolds Emory, with whom he made his home in Dover; four sisters, Mrs. Malinda Mills, Milford; Mrs. Minnie Camper, Mrs. Althonsie Morris and Mrs. Della Wilson, all of Frederica. Also three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
