A native of Bessmay, he was a lifelong resident of the Kirbyville area and a retired millwright. He was also a
U. S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Kirbyville Masonic Lodge # 294 AF & AM.
Survivors include his wife, Gracie Lamb of Kirbyville; sons, Daniel Lamb and Khris Lamb both of Kirbyville; daughters, Donna Lamb of Kirbyville, Elinor Torres of Webster and Luthena Highfill of Bryan; sisters, Clara Reeves of Kirbyville and Kathleen Darst of Grand Saline, nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held a Gospel Lighthouse in Kirbyville with burial in Antioch Cemetery in Buna.
