He was born December 17, 1948 in Fifty Six, Arkansas to Leodi and Sybil (George) Balentine. Dannie was of the Baptist faith and worked as an owner of a drywall company. He was a loving son, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his mother, Sybil Taylor of Mountain View; two daughters, Shawn Balentine of Mtn. View and Rachel Hunter and husband Rickey of Marion, Arkansas; four brothers, Lannie, Johnny, and Stevie Balentine and Kirby Curtis; one sister, Barbara Balentine; three grandchildren, Logan, Daniel and Casey Hunter and a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; grandfather, Zed George; wife, Glenda Balentine and a sister, Cindy Balentine.
Visitation is 1 - 2 p.m., Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Roller Crouch Chapel, Mtn. View.
Funeral service is 2 p.m., Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Roller Crouch Chapel, Mtn. View with Bro. Gary Don Fletcher officiating. There is no interment. Mr. Balentine will be cremated.
