Funeral services for Grace Lillian Beagley were held Tuesday, February 3 at Freedom Christian Church with Pastor Karen Akins and Rev. Glen McMurphy officiating. Interment was in Freedom Cemetery under the direction of Wharton Funeral Chapel. She was born on May 23, 1896 near Oberlin, Kansas, the daughter of Alfred Alexander and Annie Emeline (Simmons) Davidson. She passed away on January 31, 1987 at her home in Buffalo at the age of 90 years, 8 months and 8 days. She married to Jerry Edward Beagley on July 15, 1919 in Alva. He passed away on December 14, 1968. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Laura Alta Bliss; her sisters, Annie Janetta Hodgson, Lucy Luella Carver, Mollie Ellen Neukirch, and Ora Maud Sampson; her brothers, Elmer Francis Davidson, George Isaac Davidson, Jimmie Davidson, John Henry Davidson, and Joseph Daniel Davidson; a granddaughter; and a great-granddaughter. She is survived by her daughters, Vera Velma Schultz of Alva, Nola Grace Storer of Buffalo, and Dixie Dollie Clemence of Waynoka; her sons, Lloyd Jerry Beagley and Jim Max Beagley, both of Freedom, Alfred Lewis Beagley of Buffalo, Carl Joe Beagley of Humboldt, Kansas, and William John Beagley of Ponca City; her sister, Elva Sampson of Waynoka; her brother, Alfred Alexander Davidson, Jr. of Eureka, Kansas; twenty four grandchildren; and forty three great-grandchildren.
