Mrs. Dovie Lee (Odle) Lindsey of Rt. 1, Pocahontas, Tennessee died yesterday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alice (Lindsey) Kellum at 6:30 p.m. after an illness of four weeks. She was 76.

Mrs. Lindsey was born in Cherokee, Colbert County, Alabama in 1887 and was married to Robert Beck "Rob" Lindsey in Alcorn County, Mississippi in 1904.

She was a Baptist and lived in Alcorn County most of her life.

Mr. Lindsey died in 1943 and is buried in Macedonia Cemetery, New Albany, Union County, Mississippi.

Survivors are: three sons, Pete Lindsey of Corinth, Misssissippi, Jack Lindsey of Walnut, Mississippi and Raymond Lindsey of Myrtle, Mississippi; six daughters, Mrs. Sally (Lindsey) Warren of Proctor, Arkansas, Mrs. Arrie (Lindsey) Bateman of Pocahontas, Tennessee, Mrs. Alice (Lindsey) Kelllum of Corinth, Mississippi, Mrs. Effie )Lindsey) Hodum of Pocahontas, Tennessee, Mrs. Kittcure (Lindsey) Hall of New Albany, Mississippi and Mrs. Lucille (Lindsey) Brock of Corinth, Mississippi, 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Tishomingo Chape Baptist Church with Rev. W. L. Clayton officiating.

Burial will be in Shiloh Presbyterian Cemetery in Alcorn County, Mississipi.

Pallbearers will be nephews and friends, L. V. Elam, Wille Hall, Mtichel Thrasher, Cecil Odle, Mitchel Brock and Earl Hodum.

Coleman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
