Marshall, a Captain with the California Department of Forrestry (Cal Fire) was connected with the crime, and was convicted in 2007, and charge him with 1st degree murder after 23 years on investigating
Police reported that Marshall was fired before the murder took place and saked him to turn in his uniform and ick up his briefcase before he left.
Marshall was found guilty, and faces life imprisonment without parole.
