Sixth of seven surviving children of John Thomas Corbett and Emma Vogel Corbett. Husband of Adelaide Christian Corbett. Father of Robert E. Corbett, Jr., James M. Corbett, and Jo Anne Corbett Fritz. Army Air Corps veteran, World War II. Uncle Bob was particularly devoted to his mother-in-law, Ruby Christian, whose grave plot he shares. In his last years, he was very lovingly cared for by his niece, Patricia Ray Price, daughter of Edna Corbett Ray.
