Eugene Clint Chavis, 42, died suddenly, June 14, 2003. He is survived by his brother, Keith Chavis and his wife, Martha; his Aunt and Uncle, Virginia and Robert Woodcock; two Aunts, Margaret Carneal and Jean Irwin; numerous cousins, including Clay Woodcock, "JB", Thomas and Billy Carneal and Patrick Buehler; and a host of friends who loved him dearly. Mr. Chavis, was preceded in death by his mother, Marie carneal Chavis, and his grandmother, Eura W. Thurston. Mr. Chavis worked pervously for Massey Builders Supply for 15 years where he enjoyed using his carpentry skills. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Atlee Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 9271 Shady Grove Road, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Interment Signal Hill Memorial Park
