Died at the Age of 96 Years
Mrs. Kilburn, mother of ex-senator L. M. Kilburn, died at her home near Fontanelle on Thursday of last week. She was aged 96 years and 9 days.
Mehetabel Foster, was born in Canterbury, New Hampshire, October 31, 1803. She was the fourth of the family of 12 children of Col. Asa and Sarah Morress Foster, all except one of whom lived to maturity and only one survives her. She married Eliphalet Kilburn January 1, 1833 and was the mother of five children, only one of whom is left.
Funeral services held from the home Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. Interment in Fontanelle cemetery.
