Francis C. Murphy, 73, of Brooklyn, a native Utican died October 13. He was the son of James and Mary Carroll Murphy. He was a chef in Utica restaurants until moving to New York City in 1965. He was a Navy veteran.
Besides his wife Anne, he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Patrick (Frances) Hardy and Mrs. Robert (Patricia) Pitcher: several grandchildren; a sister , Mrs. John ( Dorothy) Merna; a brother , Carroll A. Murphy, both of Utica.
The funeral will be at 9:45 Thursday in Regina Pacis Church. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery Staten Island. Arrangements by McLaughlin Funeral Home, 9620 Third Ave., Brooklyn , N.Y.,
