Garrett Allen Ham, 19, of New Bloomfield, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at his home. He was born on October 25, 2002, in Jefferson City, Missouri, a son of Brian Forrest and Amy Leigh (Breshears) Ham. Garrett attended Kirchner State School for 15 years. He loved riding the bus and enjoyed the school very much. He had a very playful spirit and loved playing games with people and the attention it would bring. He had genuine joy for many things including his Barney toy, his toy called "animals," playing the keyboard with his dad, Brian, watching recorded episodes of "Live P.D.," and music of all sorts. When Garrett laughed his infectious laugh, his eyes would twinkle and shine. He was very inquisitive and incredibly aware of his surroundings, especially his personal bubble. Garrett was a special gift from God and will be missed dearly by those he leaves behind. He is survived by his loving parents, Brian and Amy; brother, Wyatt Ham; maternal grandfather, Allen Breshears (Sally); aunts and uncles, Mary Ann and Todd Semkin, Tom and Kathy Ham, Richard and Lucinda Ham, David and Ginny Ham, and Jeff and Karen Prevost, and their families. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Forrest and Bernice Ham; maternal grandmother, Judy Breshears; and cousin/honorary brother, Timon Ham. Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. A celebration of life service will take place at 12:00 p.m. directly following visitation. Interment will be at Riverview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wonderland Camp (18591 Miller Circle, Rocky Mount, MO 65072). Arrangements are under the direction of HOUSER-MILLARD Funeral Directors, 2613 West Main Street, Jefferson City, MO 65109, (573) 636-3838.
