Joseph C. L. Chapman, 67, of Louisa, died Friday, Jun 16 at his home. Mr. Chapman was born Jul 25, 1927 at Benton, TN, a son of the late Charles and Beatrice Chapman. His wife, Ada Marie Maynard Chapman, died in 1988. He was a retired coal miner. The funeral was conducted Monday, Jun 19 at Young Funeral Home. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery. Surviving are 2 daughters, Charlotte Chapman of Louisa and Thelma Russell of Modesto, CA, 3 sons, Joseph Chapman, Jr., of Louisa, Danny Ray Chapman of Lowmansville and Donald Bowens of Fort Thomas; 2 half brothers, Lacy Johnson of Louisa and Freddie( Feddie)Johnson of Louisa; 15 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
