Mrs. Ruby E. Simmons, 82, of 1 Idaho Court, died Thursday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joe Shell, 3104 E. Cervantes St.
She was a lifelong resident of Pensacola and a member of the East Hill Church of Christ.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Clara Fowler, Mrs. Evia Myers, Mrs. George White and Mrs. Joe Shell, all of Pensacola; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Vallia, Miss Ada Briggs and Mrs. Adell Herring, all of Pensacola; 18 grandchildren and ?8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Fisher-Pou Chapel with E. N. Lovell and Paul Simon ministers of the Church of Christ, officiating.
Burial will be in Bayview Memorial Park with Fisher-Pou Funeral Service directing.
Active pallbearers: grandsons, James Edward Stewart, Michael Vincent Gargone, Jr., Harless N. Fitzgerald, Francis Edward Myers, C. M. Fowler and John Thomas Landcaster.
