William Sewell Cabell, born December 8,1901, son of Joseph Alexander Cabell and Virginia Dare Sheets Cabell. He was the eldest child of eight siblings.

He married November 7, 1930 to Fanny Olive Dolin, born July 7,1906, daughter of Delmar Dolin and Mary Olive Harless Dolin.

They had three Children: William Sewell, Jr., Larry Franklin and Mary Virginia. Larry and Mary were twins.

He passed on May 13, 1977.

FOSTER – Sewell Cabell, 75 of Foster, Boone County, was dead on arrival Friday at Boone Memorial Hospital.

He was retired from Libbey-Owens Gas Company.

Surviving: wife, Fanny; daughter, Mrs. Mary V. Ross of Lexington, S.C.; sons, William S. Jr. and Larry E. of Foster; sisters, Mrs. Lyda Dolin of Foster, Mrs, Inex [P]apalucci of Media, Pa.; brothers, Charles S. of Cincinnati, Kermit of Wyandotte, Mich., Joseph A. of Cleveland, Frank Fisher of Marmet; stepmother, Mrs. Ada Cabell of Danville; stepsister, Mrs. Flossie Price of Danville.

Service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Handley Funeral Home, Danville. Burial will be in Boone Memorial Park, Madison. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
