Mary Lee Thomasson, a resident of Cleveland, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at her residence. Mrs. Thomasson was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, traveling (having traveled to Alaska, Canada, and Mexico), camping, crocheting, sewing, crafting, and was a homemaker. She was also employed at Bendix as a supervisor for 20 years.
She was the matriarch of her family, and had family gatherings at her home for 60 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Fowler Thomasson; mother, Dema Mitchell Lawson; father, Roy Lee Lawson; sister, Mildred May; great-grandson, Hayden Kyle.
A graveside celebration of her life will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 2, 2021 in the Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Reverend Steve Huff officiating.
