Herschel S Guyer, 63, former resident of West York vicinity, died Sunday evening in Flint, Michigan.
A retired construction worker he was the son of Andrew and Cady Buckner Guyer, pioneer settlers of Hutsonville Township.

Surviving are a son, Thane Guyer, Swartz Creek, Mich.; three grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Lucille Wesner, rural Hutsonville; Mrs. Alice Church, Marshall; Mrs. Gladys Marley, Martinsville, Ind., and Mrs. Edna Simpson, Westfield, Ind., and two brothers, Alvin Guyer, West York, and Manford Guyer, Hutsonville.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday evening in Flint with continued services being held Thursday afternoon at Pleasant Grove Friends Church with Rev Hugh Spauling officiating. Interment was in the Guyer Cemetery.
