L. E. HARRISON
L. E. (Gene) Harrison, 84, of Route 6, died June 3 at Conva- Rest Nursing Home in Hattiesburg after a long illness.
The funeral service will be at 11:30 a. m. Friday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, with burial in Salem Methodist Church Cemetery in Wayne County. The Rev. Rupert Blue will officiate.
He was retired from Masonite Corp. after 40 years of service, a member of Shirley Baptist Church, a mason and a member of the Masonic Lodge No 414.
He is survived by his widow, Lela Stevens Harrison of Laurel; sons, Richard Harrison of Pascagoula, John Harrison and Harold Harrison, both of Laurel and Homer Harrison of Atlanta, Texas; daughters, Jeanette Vangelo of Pascagoula and Annette Cooley of Biloxi; sisters, Senia Cooley of laurel and Lissie Stevens of Pensacola, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Barry Wayne Harrison, Richard Allen Cooley, Edward Dean Cooley, Marvin Breland, Robert Breland, Terry Breland and Michael Breland.
Visitation began 5 p.m. Wednesday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
