Brittany was babysitting for a relative and was accidentally shot and killed Brittany sustained one gunshot wound to the head killing her instantly,She was 14 years old.Reports lead to an arguement occurring between a lady and her boyfriend whom Brittany was babysitting for.The couple were fighting and young Brittany tried to break up the fight between the two,And when the female tried to shoot her boyfriend she shot Brittany instead.Both people involved were brought up on charges and served time in jail.Brittany is survived by her mother and father 2 sister's Shalonda Cambrick and Joanna Cambrick and one brother Ira Cambrick.She's deeply missed and loved by all forever.

A Wilkinsburg couple was sentenced on Monday in Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas for the shooting death of a Linton Middle School student. Bruno Boyd, 26, was sentenced by Judge Robert E. Colville to nine to 18 months in prison. Alisha Frederick, 21, was sentenced to two to four years.

Mike Manko, the district attorney's office spokesman, would not comment about the sentences.

The couple pleaded guilty in July in the death of Brittany Cambric, 13.

Frederick pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and reckless endangerment of another person. Boyd pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and reckless endangerment.

Boyd had faced charges of criminal homicide, involuntary manslaughter, terroristic threats, simple assault and reckless endangerment.

Frederick had been charged with criminal homicide, involuntary manslaughter and reckless endangerment.

The incident occurred on Jan. 31, when Brittany apparently tried to stop an argument between her cousin, Frederick, and Boyd.

Brittany was spending the night at the couple's home in the 1200 block of Walnut Street in Wilkinsburg to watch their baby.

The gun was owned by Frederick, who had a permit for it, said Allegheny County Police Lt. John Brennan.

Brittany's mother, Sonya Brown, could not be reached for comment.
