Stanley John Rozell, 81, of Fairfield Glade, passed away April 9, 2003. A prayer service was held April 11 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with Deacon Mark Frederick officiating. Funeral services were conducted at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Rochester Hills, MI, with burial in Glen Eden Cemetery in Farmington Hills, MI.
Mr. Rozell was born May 4, 1921 in Uniontown, PA, the son of Jacob and Bertha Walczy Rozoldsky.
He was a superintendent of GM Process Engineering and a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Grace Valade Rozell of Fairfield Glade; daughters, Patricia Elkington of Orlando, FL, Nancy Wilson of Ann Arbor, MI and Denice McGuigan of Plymouth, MI; stepdaughters, Karen Rehnlund, Kay Mutchler and Karole Jensen, all of Detroit, MI; stepsons, Donald Balmes Jr. of Detroit, MI and David Balmes of Virginia Beach, VA; 23 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and brother, Jim Rozell of Smocksville, PA.
The family requests that memorials be made to ELKS.
Bilbrey Funeral Home in Crossville and Potere-Modetz Funeral Home in Rochester, MI were in charge of the arrangements.
