Harry M, eldest child of Henry and Alice (Cox) Guyer, was born 13 Jun 1886 in a humble log cabin home, five miles NW of Hutsonville, IL.

He was one of a family of 5 children. His childhood life was in likeness typical of the days in which he was born with his interests and friendship genuine.

On 10 Sep 1908 he was united in marriage to Margaret Cooper. They established their home north of the Friends Church, where they spent their entire life, except part of 2 years in the state of Missouri.

Three children were born to Harry and Margaret---Audra, Verlen and Louise.

Death deprived him of his companion on 16 Nov 1950. Though wedlock was disrupted, he maintained a devotion with the spirit of the departed. He was also preceded in death by his parents and one son, Verlen, on 13 Aug 1953, twin granddaughters on 26 Oct 1949 and one son in law Samuel Evans in Jan 1961.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs Audra Evans and Mrs. Louise Fleenor; one son in law Genee Warman of Culver City, CA; one granddaughter Connie Jo Fleenor and one grandson Richard H Guyer of Culver City, CA; 2 step-granddaughters Carol Battershell and Donna Smithey, 4 brothers, Lee of Hutsonville, IL, Raymond of Robinson, IL Murray of Oklahoma City, OK and Stanley of Rockford, IL.

He leaves also a number of nephews and nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.

In early years he chose the christian life as his guide. United with the Friends Church which he attended as long as health permitted, he maintained the teaching of his master to the nest of his ability.
