Enlisted in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and served from October 2, 1812 to February 28, 1813, as corporal in Lieutenant Thomas Warren's Company of Pennsylvania Militia.
Applied for bounty land May 20, 1851, at which time he was aged fifty-nine years, and a resident of Trimble County, Kentucky. Allowed eighty acres of bounty land, on account of his services in the War of 182, on warrant No. 44491, under the Act of September 28, 1850. He applied for bounty land March 31, 1855 while living in Trimble County, Kentucky. He was allowed eighty acres of bounty land, on account of his services in the War of 1812, on warrant No. 6417, under the Act of March 3, 1855.

Found in 1860 Census in Trimble County, Kentucky - age 69 - no wife shown - children shown are Margaret age 26, Robert G. age 24, Clarrissa age 22, Ebenezer age 20 (school teacher).
Moffett Cemetery Records show Section B Lot 264 was owned by Robert Muse (16'x24')
Only interment shown is "Fauntley".
