Inscription

In Memory of Mr.
WILLIAM BROWN
who died July 17 AD. 1805
In the 46th year of his age.

Pause friend, and let this monitory rhyme Employ one moment of thy fleeting time. Weep not for those whose Christan race is run; But weep for those who have not yet begun; Shed tears of sorrow o'er the guilty soul,- Of joy o'er those who've reach'd the heavenly goal; Whose heads victorious wear a radiant Crown.- Such is, we trust, the happy state of BROWN. Here sleeps his dust. - his spirit rests above. Complete in JESUS, likeness- singing JESUS love.
