"Rick" was the son of Richard D. & Marion (Hulse) Estler. He was engaged to be married at the time of his death.

Obit - "Richard J. Estler died Friday, Feb. 9, 1990, at Morristown Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained in an accident at work on Tuesday. He was 30.

He was born in Denville and was a lifelong resident of Boonton.

He was a crewman for the Township of Montville Street Department for five years. Before that, he worked at Boonton Building Supply in Montville.

Mr. Estler was a 1979 graduate of Boonton High School and received an associates degree from County College of Morris in 1982.

He was a member of Harmony Senior Drum Corps in Boonton for 18 years; an exempt member of the Boonton Fire Department, South Boonton Hose and Engine Company 3; and a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Boonton.

Survivors include his parents, Richrd D. and Marion; a brother, James E. of Boonton; his maternal grandparents, Raymond and Marie Hulse of Eldred, NY; and his fiance, Dorothy Kostka of Boonton.

Arrangements are by Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Ave., Boonton."
