RITES FOR MRS. THOMAS R. ADAMS
Mrs. Eva Bailey Adams, 74, died Wednesday in Hampton. She was the widow of Thomas Roy Adams. She was a member of Phenix Presbyterian Church. She is survived by four sons, Carrol F. Adams of Roanoke, Courtney B. Adams of Media, Pa., Aubrey Adams of Smithfield and E. Grayson Adams of Hampton; two brothers, Garland Bailey of Brookneal and R.E. Bailey of Norfolk and a sister Mrs. Charlie Adams of Randolph. Mrs. Adams' husband, the late T. Roy Adams, served Charlotte County for may years as Commissioner of Revenue. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday at Phenix Presbyterian Church, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery; Charlotte Court House.
