John Eubanks is the son of Richard Mayes Eubanks and Frances Higgins Eubanks. John was buried next to his parents in Eubanks Cemetery. His & parents stones were moved to Freedom Cemetery by a well meanibg Higgins relative.

On his stone it reads: JNO. EUBANKS, CO.A. 19TH KY. INF.

John enlisted as a Corporal in the Union's 19th KY Infantry at Harrodsburg, Madison KY on 2 Jan 1862 and was mustered out (died) on 4 Mar 1862. He died of Enteritis.
