Nathan Allen, 86, longtime resident of Clawson passed away Monday, April 28 at Cambridge North Nursing Home. He was born July 3, 1921 in Detroit. He is predeceased by his parents Carlos and Hazel. His father Carlos was the Mayor of Clawson for a short time, he dedicated the Clawson Memorial Park and then went off to serve in the first World War. Nathan was a WWII Marine Corp veteran. He retired from Thoreson McCosh Inc, Troy in 1986. He was an avid bowler and golfer, a Civil War buff and enjoyed listening to big band music. Mr. Allen is survived by his wife Betty and his son Larry.
