Barbara R. Bigsby, 59, of Fond du Lac, died on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Tarfa Terrace.
She was born on January 27, 1965, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Rolland and Audrey Furman Ablard. On December 4, 2009, she married Terrence "Terry" R. Bigsby at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church.
Barbara was a lifelong resident of Fond du Lac. She worked in housekeeping at Fond du Lac Regional clinic. She attended church at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran and Grace Christian Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed Christian reading material and self-help books. She enjoyed baseball, watching the Milwaukee Brewers, Timber Rattlers and Dock Spiders. She was supportive of her husbands dartball team and enjoyed music concerts.
She is survived by her husband Terry Bigsby of Fond du Lac, her siblings: Mary Jo (Buddy) Vescio of Fond du Lac, Betty Ann (Ron) Pingel of Appleton, Robert (Jeanie) Ablard of Fox Crossing and William Ablard of Oshkosh; her sister-in-law Patricia Heidger of Almond, special friends: Tracy (Dan) Carroll of Oshkosh, Tracy Rodriguez of Fond du Lac, John (Pat) Kranig of Fond du Lac, Patrick Behnke of Fond du Lac and Mary Krumbein.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two aunts and two uncles.
VISITATION: The family will greet friends and relatives from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, on Monday, February 26, 2024, at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church, 20 Wisconsin American Drive, Fond du Lac
SERVICE: Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, February 26, 2024, at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church, with Rev. Tom Meyer and Rev. Paul Pfeffer officiating. Burial to follow at Estabrooks Cemetery.
