Obit - "Ernest J. "Pop" Clark of Narrowsburg, a retired employee with the Boy Scouts of America, and a lifelong area resident, died Saturday, July 30, in Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale, PA. He was 89.
The son of the late John Henry and Carrie Bogert Clark, he was born May 28, 1894 in Methol. The widower of Eunice Hallock Clark, he was a member of the Eldred Methodist Church and the American Association of Retired Persons.
Survivors include three sons, Orville E. Clark of Lake Huntington; Vernon C. Clark of Sparrow Bush; and Douglas Hallock of Narrowsburg; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were at Rasmussen Sons Funeral Home, Narrowsburg. The Rev. Roger Riley officiated.
Burial was in Eldred Cemetery, Eldred.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Tusten Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Narrowsburg or the Eldred Methodist Church, Eldred."
