Patrick H. "The Colonel" Raftery, Jr. passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2008. He was 86 years of age and a resident of Loranger, LA.
Husband of Lois Raftery. Father of Gay Wilson, Santa Clarita, CA, Mimi Kelly, Harahan, LA, Jackie Richard, Metairie, LA, Michele Lucas, Denver, CO and brother of Kathyleen Raftery. Also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grand children.
He was preceeded in death by his son Patrick H. Raftery, III.
Mr. Raftery was an Army Air Corps veteran and retired from the Air Force Reserves as a Lt. Col. He served his country in WWII. He was the retired owner of the Raftery Elevator Company in New Orleans.
