Chad L. Albert, 52, of Pleasant Plains, IL, passed away unexpectedly February 12, 2024.


Chad was born to Robert and Linda (nee Buerkett) Albert August 12, 1971, in Springfield, IL. He was a hard worker, driving semi to and from grain elevators and working with farmers during the harvest season. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan, loved concerts, and was a diehard Slipknot fan. However, above all else, he was known for his dedication and deep love for his children, his family, and his friends. They meant the world to him, and he would have done anything for them.


Chad is survived by his children, Skylar and Corey Albert; his parents, Robert and Linda Albert; sister, Jennifer (Patrick) Horton; and several aunts, uncles, & cousins.


Chad was preceded in death by his grandparents, two aunts, and an uncle.


A Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. at 122 W. Douglas Ave, Petersburg, IL 62675.


Suggested Memorial Donations could be made to Jennifer Horton for the lights of Chad's life, Skylar and Corey, for their future.
