Martha Margaret Baughman Smith, age 92, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away at Russellville Nursing and Rehab on Monday, January 1, 2024.
The daughter of Samuel and Zola (Riddle) Edmonson was born in Bellefonte, AR on January 25, 1931.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Dean Baughman and her sons, Jeffrey Scott Baughman and Jimmy Baughman.
Martha was a member of Eagle Heights Baptist Church. She enjoyed going on trips with the senior adults. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and spending time with her family. She retired from Walmart after 20 years, then became a caregiver through Atlis In+Home Care until she was 82. She had a big heart and loved all those around her!
She is survived by her daughters, Beverly Bass and husband Jim, and Charlotte Wilkerson and sister, Barbara Harness; her grandchildren, Tim Wilkerson, Amanda Wilkerson, Stephanie Hanstrom and husband, Christor, Lisa Gleaves and husband Chad, and Jeffrey Baughman; great grandchildren, Taylor and Jakob Wilkerson, Nicolas and Brady Hanstrom, and Autumn, Holly, and David Gleaves; great-great grandchildren, Amelia and Corinna Hanstrom.
Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30, Thursday, Jan 4 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison and the funeral service immediately following at 2:30 pm. Her service will be held in conjunction with a memorial service for her son Jimmy, who passed away on December 30. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
