She was born Dec. 9, 1919, in Sharon, Kanawha County, a daughter of the late Jonathan and
Effie [Colley] Arms.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Emmitt.
She was a member of Old Glory Freewill Baptist Church, Winifrede.
Her survivors include her children, Larry Rae Adkins of Thompson, Ohio, Emmitt Gaylord "Butch"
Adkins of Charleston, Ronnie Wayne Adkins of Galion, Ohio, Emogene "Jean" Keesee of Gainesville,
Ga., Juanita Louise "Nead" Campbell of Hansford; Linda Sue Green of Belle; brothers, Gaylord Arms
of Gallagher, Jack Arms of Crestline, Ohio; sister, Elizabeth Puffenbarger of Geneva, Ohio; and
several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, at O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery, with Pastor Fairley
McCormick officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
